The people of Stoke-on-Trent have a long history of coming together for the greater good of our city. We are creators, we are innovators and above all we are doers. Our proud heritage was built on the knowledge that hard work and community spirit is very important to our city for us, our children and grandchildren.   

Stoke-on-Trent’s three Conservative Parliamentary candidates have jointly and roundly condemned the English Defence League march which is due to take place this weekend in the City Centre. Norsheen Bhatti, James Rushton and Andy Large expressed their disappointment and concern that the EDL have targeted Hanley for their demonstrations, which have often resulted in violence and hatred towards those who oppose the views of the EDL.
