Staffordshire police have received two complaints from residents about the salesmen, dressed in white coats and hats, operating out of a van in Biddulph Road and Lowhurst Drive In one instance a resident paid over £200 for fish from a doorstep salesmen who said he could only sell his fish in bulk. He has been a hard working and skilled member on the council, particularly in the area in which he is most passionate housing. The motion, put forward by former city councillor Graham Wallace, called for action to be taken against group leader Joy Garner, Deputy Mayor Mohammed Pervez and Debra Gratton for voting against Labour Group policy and ignoring the group whip. Pits'n'Pots can exclusively reveal that the Stoke Central Labour Party member who has tabled a motion calling for disciplinary action against Labour Group Leader Joy Garner and fellow EMB members Mohammed Pervez and Debra Gratton, is none other than the much respected former Abbey Green ward councillor Graham Wallace. The motion could mean suspension or exclusion from the party for ignoring the party whip and voting against Labour Group policy.
