Stoke-on-Trent City Farm Public Survey

Stoke-on-Trent City Farm recently made it in to the Guardian top ten urban places to visit, the City Council have toyed with the idea of closing it.

Over the last 18 months there have been several different stories which have come out about the City Farm, from moving it out of council control and in to the hands of a trust to the possibility of it being closed. These options have been muted to save the council anything between £80,000 & £100,000 a year.

Now it seems that they are consulting on charging for this currently free resource to help cover the costs.

If you wish to take part in the survey, you can do so online by using the link below, but as the survey has not been publicised particularly well, you only have until Sunday 4 July to give the council your views.
